Meet Our Team

The UBC Boathouse, a truly one-of-a-kind facility, is home to UBC Rowing, St. George’s Rowing and Thunderbird Community Rowing Programs. The architectural design of the venue is meant to mimic the form of a rowing shell. The building, like the rowing shell, sits lightly on the water leaving little impact on the surrounding environment.

Specially designed docks allow shells to launch with ease and provide the unobstructed water views that the UBC Boathouse has become known for.

Each event hosted at the UBC Boathouse directly supports the development of local, Provincial, National and Olympic rowing athletes.
