What’s Included

The following list of items are included in all rentals at the UBC Boathouse

The UBC Boathouse will do one full set up and one full take down of all venue tables and chairs as well as removal of garbage and recycling.

If your floor plan requires multiple transitions throughout your event, the UBC Boathouse Day-of Venue Coordinator will lead and participate in the transition, but assistance for your catering team or other pre-designated helpers will be required.

  • (10) x eight foot rectangular tables (30″ x 96″, 29″ height)
  • (15) x six foot rectangular tables (30″ x 72″, 29″ height)
  • (7) x four foot rectangular tables (25″ x 48″, 30″ height)
  • (21) x – 60” diameter round tables (each table seats 8 people comfortably and is 29″ tall)
  • (14) x – 30″ diameter cocktail tables (can either be 30″ tall or 42″ tall)

All venue tables should be dressed. You may rent your linens through your own vendor or white-only linens through the UBC Boathouse with our White Linen Rental. Please contact us to add our White Linen Rental to your booking.

Audio Visual equipment (event hall only)
  • 1 HDTV screen (connection via HDMI or VGA cable, provided)
  • 1 Ceiling mounted projector and screen (connection via VGA cable, provided)
  • 1 Corded microphone with stand
  • Built in sound system
  • Multi disc CD player
  • 1 iPod connection
  • Two stainless steel coat racks (holds approximately 100 coats)
  • 1 UBC Venue Coordinator for the duration of your rental (this person will be  your point of contact during your rental if help or assistance is needed).
  • 1 set of lounge furniture for use in the event hall or adjoining patio space
  • Cleaning of the washrooms and floors after your event

Additional Rental Items

The following items must be added to your rental no less than 30 days prior to your rental in order to ensure that they are available. Please see below for full list of additional items and rates. Unused items will be refunded along with your damage deposit.

Should you require extra rental product on the day of and it is available in the facility, you are welcome to add it to your rental and the amount will be deducted from your damage deposit. Please note that only the person you have listed as your main event contact person can authorize the rental of extra product on the day of your event.
